Andrew MacLeod
President and Chief Executive Officer听
Mr. MacLeod was appointed Postmedia鈥檚 President and Chief Executive Officer in January, 2019. He joined Postmedia in 2014 as EVP and Chief Commercial Officer and was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in 2017. Mr. MacLeod also currently serves as a Director on the boards for Waterfront Toronto and Communitech, and the Chair of Invest Ontario.
Prior to joining Postmedia, Mr. MacLeod held a number of senior executive positions, most recently as Senior Vice President & Regional Managing Director, North America at BlackBerry.
John Bode
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Transformation Officer
Mr. Bode was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Transformation Officer in October, 2023 to lead Postmedia鈥檚 finance operations and transformation portfolio.
Mr. Bode听serves as a director on the board of The McClatchy Company, LLC, which owns and operates a group of newspapers in the United States of America.听Previously, Mr.听Bode听served as Chief Operating Officer of听ReaderLink听Distribution Services, LLC and as听Chief Financial Officer at Tribune Publishing.听

Gillian Akai
Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel
Ms. Akai joined Postmedia鈥檚 predecessor company in 2006 and added corporate secretarial duties to her legal affairs responsibilities in 2010. She was appointed Postmedia鈥檚 Chief Administrative Officer in February 2018, adding to her existing role as General Counsel which she has held since November 2016. Ms. Akai is responsible for Postmedia鈥檚 legal and regulatory affairs, corporate governance,听corporate communications, human resources and risk management.听
Ms. Akai currently serves听as a Director on听the Board of Hydrocephalus Canada (having previously served as Chair),听the Board of News/Media Alliance,听and the North York General Hospital鈥檚 Board of Governors.听
Prior to joining the company, Ms. Akai was in private practice with Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (now Dentons Canada LLP).听
Ms. Akai holds a joint Bachelor of Laws (LLB)/MBA from Osgoode Hall Law School/Schulich School of Business (York University).听
